A Quarter Century of Independence

Independence 2015 AnniversaryCONGRATULATIONS to all Namibia’s people! Not much going on in Keetmanshoop by way of celebrating. However, at Disney World in Florida tomorrow Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will recognize Namibia’s Independence Day with a special event featuring a themed prop table in the Lobby from 2–4 p.m. In addition, a Namibian Savanna guide will present a free Namibian Overview Cultural Safari in the Sunset Lounge at 7:30 p.m. Guests will immerse into the Namibian culture and learn fun facts. I’m going to Disney World.

Of course, there are also huge celebrations in the nation’s capitol and in some northern and coastal towns.

Now that’s odd! If it isn’t important for Namibia, why is it so for Disney World? I keep meaning to ask, do you see any animals where you are besides apes? Elle
