Taking care of business

Last week we met our “clients” who are local business folks with whom we work for the next few weeks during training.  Barbara’s client is a community activist dedicated to helping children suffering from disabilities, malnutrition and domestic violence.  But it is difficult for her to get funding…and that is Barbara’s challenge.  I was introduced to a paint manufacturer and toured his facility on Friday.  They seem to be doing lots of things well, but bookkeeping does not result in useful reports.  It will be great if we can actually be of service to these entrepreneurs, but it is also for us as PCTs to engage with the business community and test our abilities to integrate with the new culture.

We really like our PCT friend Amy!
