Alba, a lovely woman with Gamboa Tours, drove us to PTY and we flew to El Salvador and back down to Lima arriving around 2 PM. Departure from Panama City was too early for Subway (pic) but we waited for Dunkin Donuts (YES!) to open and we took the coffee on the plane (a TACA airlines airbus which was very nice indeed).
Flew into Lima, soaked in a tub built-for-two at our hotel and later walked about two miles through the Mira Flores district to a wonderful restaurant, Pescado Capitales. You cannot go wrong here and the Cebiches are fabulous: http://www.pescadoscapitales.com/carta_ entradas.htm
Had our first chichas and pisco sours followed by a very nice Cebiches dinner served up by Albert. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pisco_Sour
Hotel Casa Andina Miraflores San Antonio: Tiny room, clean with king bed and a tub for two! Some tiny ants but not a bother. Good service and responsive front desk. http://www.casa-andina.com/peru/hotels/ miraflores-hotels/classic-miraflores-sa n-antonio/hotel.php
